Rain’s 2009 Asia Tour Enraptures Seoul Audiences
Rain’s 2009 Asia Tour concert entitled “Legend of Rainism” has been held in Seoul. The day before the concert, the production team of the CNN show “Talk Asia” interviewed the singer. During the two-hour concert, Rain performed 25 songs. In the opening part, the new group MBLAQ, which is produced by Rain, staged its debut performance. The audience gave positive feedback about MBLAQ’s performance, which fully showed its potential.

Kim Jin-Ho of SG Wannabe Injures his knee
Kim Jin-ho of SG Wannabe had to suspend his singing career for two months because of a knee injury. He injured his knee during a concert in Japan but he continued to perform wearing a cast, because he thought it wasn’t serious. As the pain intensified, Kim Jin-ho underwent a checkup that revealed that his cruciate ligament had been stretched. The singer has been operated and will receive further treatment and exercise to strengthen his knee muscles. Kim Jin-ho said he looked forward to meeting his fans again. We also wish him a fast recovery!
Rain’s (비) Ninja Assasin
Ninja Assassin is an upcoming martial arts film directed by James McTeigue and starring Rain. The film was produced by Joel Silver and the Wachowski brothers, and filming took place in Berlin, Germany. The film is scheduled to be released on November 25, 2009
Summary of the movie so far..
Raizo (Rain) is one of the world’s deadliest assassins, having been kidnapped as a child and raised by the Ozunu Clan, believed by the world to be a myth. When Raizo’s friend is executed by the clan, Raizo flees into hiding. He later reemerges, seeking revenge. Meanwhile, Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) is a Europol agent who investigates money linked to political murders and finds that it is linked to the Ozunu Clan. She defies her superior, Ryan Maslow (Ben Miles), and retrieves secret agency files to find out more. The clan, finding out about the investigation, attempts to assassinate her, but she is rescued by Raizo. Hiding in Europe, Raizo and Mika must find a way to take down the Ozunu Clan.

Our sweet-girls next door, Girls Generation is already grown a perfect lady and now having an Asia Tour. What’s the connect? 
SNSD’s First Solo Concert is to be held on the 19th and 20th of December.
SNSD will be starting their Asia tour with their concert at Seoul Olympic Stadium in the Fencing arena.
They are preparing their main songs and flashy solo performances to show off their various talents.
Starting with Seoul, they will be performing in places such as Shanghai and Bangkok
to continue with their Asia tour and to promote themselves for their fans. The date is not set yet except Seoul concert, however.
SNSD released the following statement:
“We are happy and nervous to bring you our first solo concert.
We will practice hard to give you a memorable and charismatic performance”.
Ticket sales will be available online from GMarket.co.kr from the 19th of November after 8pm. (Korean Time).

2ne1 First Solo Concert, Cancelled
2ne1 First Solo Concert, Cancelled. On November 12th, Yang Hyun Suk, President of YG Entertainment released a statement on YG’s official website. It stated that 2NE1’s solo concerts which were scheduled for December 30th & 31st have been cancelled. The reason given was that they did not have enough songs prepared to hold a solo concert. This doesn’t come as much of a shock since their full length album was also recently postponed from being released this month to sometime next year. In a statement made on the 26th of October, YG had said that they postponed the album release because the fan response to the mini album was so great they wanted to make sure that every song on the full length album was good enough to be a ‘title song.’
The girls of 2NE1 have been crazy busy recently due to the popularity of their hits “Fire” and “I Don’t Care.” They’ve performed on numerous shows, Bom and Sandara both have released singles, and they just won on the 2009 Style Icon Awards. I bet a lot of people don’t realize that 2NE1 just debuted this past May with the release of ”Fire” (although they first appeared with Big Bang in the CF for LG with the song “Lollipop” in March). To help appease fans, YG has promised an ‘unleakable’ surprise from 2NE1 on November 20th.
I personally think YG is wise not to rush 2NE1’s album and concerts. They definitely would be foolish to release an album that was only ‘okay’ or put on a concert before they’re ready, it would ruin a lot of the positive momentum 2NE1 has been gaining with fans. ”Slow and steady wins the race…” I can’t wait to see what CL, Sandara, Bom, and Mizy have in store for us.
We will still wait for the concert of 2ne1 whenever it happens.
